Dailies: Less Words, More Pictures

I am going to try something new. When I began this blog, one of it's goals was to share a lot of the behind the scenes and technical info that is a byproduct of photographing things. Over the life of this site, by career has become time consuming and I find that I don't always have the time to share the things that I did years ago. I currently have about a dozen posts started from shoots that I did over the past year. I just don't seem to get around to giving them a proper write up. Some of them are no longer relevant from a technical standpoint, and some of them are just not fresh enough in my mind anymore to write up properly. To solve this, I am going to begin a series of posts called Dailies. These posts will let me show images from current shoots, without me rambling on about f/stops and light falloff. Some of you may enjoy these more. Some of you will want to skip them and move on to the technical stuff.

This first image is of my friend Sarah Lynch from a shoot I did several years ago for what is now TheTeamlab.com. This was not one of the lead images, and I only recently finished retouching it.

Maybe this is a cop out, but I am going to give it a try. Let me know what you think in the comments.

More to come. -J.H.
