I moved to Sheboygan a little over 3 weeks ago. If you have been following this blog for any length of time you will remember that it was about this time last year that I moved from Lacrosse to Wausau. I would like to tell you that I am trying to scratch some nomadic itch, but the real reason is a little less interesting.
In fact, this move was a result of a perfect combination of circumstance. My wife was offered a job here, and it was a chance for me to better position myself to serve my clients in the south-eastern part of the state. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of things that I will miss about Wausau, not the least of which are my clients there, but I am stoked to be in a new place and one that I hope to call home for a while.
If it's been a little quite here it's because we've been busy moving our belonging (not to mention 2 x 26' trucks full of studio and print shop) to their new spaces, while also continuing with a pretty full schedule of client work and some really big projects. I have been working with The Teamlab in an almost full-time capacity, I even have a title there. Hopefully the fruits of our collective labor will be public soon.
One of my favorite things about living here is that I about pretty much within walking distance of some of the best fresh water surfing in the world. (no joke) We are just about at the beginning of the season right now, and I think it's gonna be a pretty heavy fall.
The photos in this post were from a single morning last week, I was down there last night and it was a little bigger. While I haven't been able to catch a really good day yet (that will change because I live here now) I have seen some really heavy pictures from years past. More to come.
